How schools allocate funds is a common question. Each campus has an organized desicion-making committee. Members of the committee include parents, teachers, staff, and the Principal. Committee members meet monthly in a formal setting and discuss ways to invest EEF donor dollars into the specific school, its programs and students.

Double Your Donation! It’s Easy

Double your Donation through Employer Matching - it’s so easy! Many employers offer Employee Matching for donations made to a charitable cause and Education is one of the best causes on the planet. Chances are good your employer will match your donation.

Now that you’ve completed your donation, let’s see if you can DOUBLE (or even triple) it! You and/or your spouse may work for a company that encourages and supports employee gift giving (donations to educational foundations).

Through a company sponsored matching gift program, both parents can submit a request for matching funds, allowing you to DOUBLE or even TRIPLE your donation! Click HERE to see the top 20 matching gift companies. If your company’s not on the list, don’t give up! Call or email your HR Department.

Employer Matching is very simple:

  1. Donate to your child’s school (scroll up for the link)

  2. Request a matching gift application from your Employer’s HR department

  3. Fill out your Employer’s matching gift application and use ENCINITAS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (EEF) as the designated charity. DO NOT name your child’s school or Encinitas Union School District.

  4. Once you submit your application to your Employer, please email us at matching@eefonline.org. We want to be sure your request is processed, completed AND that your matching donation is given to your child’s school.

Other Things to Know about Employer Matching

  • Some companies disburse matching gifts on a quarterly or yearly schedule.

  • If you make donations to Encinitas Educational Foundation on a recurring basis, your employer may require you to apply each time a recurring payment is processed.

  • Once your Employer Match is received, Encinitas Educational Foundation will notify you.
